July Favorites

Hey guys! Today I’m sharing my favorites from July! I love watching favorites Youtube videos and reading favorites blog posts so I thought I’d dabble! I’m going to include some beauty, some food, some household, and a book!

1. PB2 Peanut Butter Powder

I had heard so much about this stuff so I gave it a try and I actually really like it. I don’t think the PB2 is as rich and creamy as regular peanut butter but it does the trick! It’s a peanut butter powder that you mix with water to make a peanut butter consistency. It has 85% less fat and calories than regular peanut butter! Two tablespoons is just 50 calories with only slightly less protein than regular PB. It’s great! I really want to make some peanut butter cookies with it!

2. Bigelow Orange and Spice Herbal Tea and Celestial Seasonings Fruit Tea Sampler

I usually hate tea so I was on the hunt for a tea that doesn’t taste strongly like tea (I know, it’s stupid). I found some that I absolutely fell in love with. I do enjoy Chai tea but i wanted something lighter. I found the Bigelow Orange and Spice Tea and the Celestial Seasonings Fruit Tea Sampler. I love the orange and the warm spices in the Bigelow tea. If you’re a big citrus fan, this is the tea for you. I love the idea of the sampler because it allows you try all different flavors of tea! My favorite ones in the sampler are the Wild Berry Zinger and the Peach tea! They don’t have a strong tea taste which is why I love them. They do sell each one of the teas in the sampler in single boxes so if you like one more than the others, you can buy that kind alone. And one of the best parts about these herbal teas is that they’re all caffeine free. Caffeine does NOT agree with my body so anything I drink or eat has to be caffeine free.

3. L’Oreal Infallible Les Chocolats Pro Matte Liquid Lipstick

Where do I even start. This formula is amazing. I don’t like liquid lipsticks that make my lips dry and make them feel like they’re going to crack and this formula is so far from that. It is a little bit sticky upon application but that wears off and you’re left with a beautiful creamy and smooth, full coverage lip color. Mine is in the shade Candyman. It’s a beautiful ashy pink that I adore! PLUS, it smells like chocolate. It smells like if you’ve ever been to Hershey’s Chocolate World at Hershey Park and you go on the ride where they show you how their chocolate is made and you pass through the part where it smells like chocolate. That’s what they captured in this bottle. Everything about this lip color is divine.

4. Morphe M444 Brush

I go back and forth between using a brush and beauty sponge for my foundation but recently I tried a brush that came in a kit I got from Morphe a while back and had never used. I was so blown away at how fast it blended my foundation and how evenly it blended it as well! I like the M444 brush because it is super densely packed and the hairs are really short so there’s a ton of coverage! You can’t go wrong with this brush!

5. Dry Brush

I recently wanted to give dry brushing a try because I had heard it is really good for circulation and makes your skin super soft because it exfoliates really well. I haven’t been at it for too long but I got this dry brush and got to work. I normally will do it before I shower and so far so good! I thought it was going to hurt because the bristles are rough but you get used to it and it has made my skin so much softer!!

6. Capital Gaines by Chip Gaines

Guys, this book is so good!! I like Chip and Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper so I thought I’d give this book a go and I fell in love. Chip Gaines is hilarious and so insightful. He seems like a really savvy businessman and I absolutely loved his book. He shares lots of stories about life, relationships, and starting and running a business and even though I don’t have my own business, I really enjoyed learning from him. His book is really inspiring so if you want to laugh and get inspired, pick this book up!

7. Sand and Fog Tropical Citrus Candle

Y’all this candle is the epitome of what summer smells like! You’d think it would smell like coconut because of the look of it but it smells like soft citrus and wonderfulness! I have been lighting mine every day and there’s still so much left! It isn’t an obnoxious citrus scent either. Very soft!

I hope you guys try some of my favorites from July! They’re worth it! See y’all later!

XO,

Gabby
